Piers Beckwith

Piers joined his family office, Pacific Investments Group in 2007 having successfully sold Media Run Group, an online advertising business which he ran with Adam Murray for 3 years. While at Pacific, Piers has established three successful Real Estate businesses: Pacific and York Ltd (UK PRS), Red River USA LP (Miami based resi development) and Trinity River Developments (Dublin based resi development). Piers is the CEO of Mortar Capital, the residential development arm of Pacific Investments. His experience and business acumen are fundamental to the success of the business. Piers qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in 2004.

If not at a Chelsea game, Piers enjoys skiing and playing tennis.

Sebastian Steane

Sebastian joined Mortar Capital in January 2018, as Development Manager. He is responsible for Mortar Capital’s deal structure and flow, and takes an active role throughout the development lifecycle in all of Mortar Capital's deals. Sebastian began his career in Finance, before moving into Real Estate, originally with Balfour Beatty, and most recently with Arcadis, where he managed their Joint Venture development consultancy business.

In his spare time, Seb enjoys running and has completed 2 city marathons, playing the occasional game of Cricket and watching live sport.

Jamie Waldegrave

Jamie joined Mortar Capital in October 2020, as a Real Estate Investment Manager. Jamie began his career in Finance at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where he qualified as a chartered accountant, before moving into tech with the PropTech company Coniq. While CFO Coniq Jamie helped the company grow from a start up to a team of over 100. During this time Coniq won accounts with Land Securities, Unibail Rodamco Westfield, Value Retail, and many other property majors.

Depending on the season, Jamie spends most of his spare time cycling up mountains, or skiing down them.
